The Peacock is the symbol of Winter Park, and our logo is based on a Peacock feather.  Peacocks were originally introduced to the area in 1950 by the former president of Rollins College, and these beautiful birds are often seen around the area.  To us it is an enduring symbol of the community and the Florida outdoor lifestyle we love so much.
